Community Connection
…isn’t just a philosophy—it’s something you build by bringing people, resources, and systems together. Here are the ways I have identified gaps in the community's support system and built the connections and infrastructure needed to close them.
Making it easier to find the help that already exists.
In partnership with WY 211, Lincoln County Connects brings local human service resources into one accessible community database and website. By connecting residents, organizations, and service providers to the resources available in their own community, we can make it easier for people to find support—and easier for those who serve them to connect with one another.
Lincoln County Connects
Connecting resources to the people who need them most.
Through our partnership with Community Action of Laramie County, we facilitate the Community Service Block Grant, Lincoln County Connects is the access point to resources; CSBG helps remove the financial barrier to using some of those resources.
Community Service Block Grant
Building the network that makes connection possible.
As the creator of Lincoln County Connects, I have seen how much stronger our communities become when organizations understand what one another can offer. I serve as a member of the Plans of Safe Care Collaborative, a group of community providers working together to support families affected by prenatal substance exposure. This work strengthens the network of resources available to families—and helps ensure that the connections built through Lincoln County Connects lead to meaningful support.
